About Teorem

Teorem is a funded Croatian EdTech, backed with $2M funding, on a mission to make highest quality tutoring digitally available for all students to additionally improve their education journey.

Their Challenge

As a funded EdTech startup that acts as a digital intermediary, Teorem faced a dual challenge: attracting high-quality tutors & convincing parents and students to trust and use the platform.

While demand for online tutoring was increasing worldwide, the market was highly fragmented & competitive. Teorem had been active on the Croatian market but were looking to enter the US.

Our Approach

To achieve Teorem’s growth goals, we engineered an allbound system built on four core pillars: precision targeting, building trust, high-impact content, and highly personalized outreach.

While complex, the goal was achievable, to continuously attract world-class tutors while gaining trust of parents & students with personalized 1 on 1 engagements and ongoing nurturing of leads.

What impressed me most about working with STURM team was the way approach work. They blended creativity & deep knowledge of marketing, platforms, even human psychology to design campaigns that resonated and spoke to people. They didn’t just open doors, they created new ones.

Our Strategy

Multiple priorities had to be tackled simultaneously. Attracting Ivy League university tutors to the platform, securing students to become active users and raising awareness with the parents.

We decided to run multi-channel outbound campaigns through Email & LinkedIn to generate enough exposure, then allocated an account executive for one-on-one calls to raise initial trust.

Expectations

Teorem had no active US tutors or platform users so the main goal was to quickly secure new tutors from all prestige & top ranked universities in the US, and to secure US users rapidly.

Project Timeline

Onboarding, Workshops & Strategy Engineering

Through onboarding workshops with Teorem’s leadership we aligned on objectives, built ICP definitions for both tutors and students, while preparing outbound frameworks.

Project Launch & Early Outreach

Launched outbound campaigns across LinkedIn and Email with 2 ICPs: Ivy League tutors and EU-based tutors. Started first wave of parent/student outreach for awareness.

Content Strategy Deployment

Rolled out posting campaigns on LinkedIn to support outbound by building brand trust.
Created tutor-specific content (success stories, credibility posts) and edu materials.

A/B Testing & Early Wins

A/B tested messaging: academic prestige, flexible earnings, career building opportunities. Optimized email cadences & posting frequency. First partnerships closed, secured 20+ new tutors per month consistently.

Scaling Across Verticals

Expanded outreach to cover broader tutor pools in Europe while continuing US Ivy League push. Parents/student campaigns gained traction with trust-building webinars and 1:1 follow-up calls. Refined onboarding flows for faster conversion to active tutor/student.

Multi-Channel Expansion

Added live US-based support for tutor/student onboarding to accelerate conversions.
Further refined landing pages & support materials based on adoption insights. Secured 100+ new users per month consistently joining the platform.

Partnerships & Long-Term Traction

Focused on partnerships with universities, academic clubs & student associations. Continued outbound and posting to sustain tutor growth while reinforcing brand credibility. Teorem was consistently securing 1+ university partnership each month.
